Grace White

“I am a dancer, choreographer, multidisciplinary artist and facilitator working at the intersection of movement, creativity and community.”

I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the unceded, stolen lands of so-called Australia — the lands where I am grateful to live, play and work. I pay my respects to all First Nations people and recognise Elders past and present.

A life lived in movement

Dancer, choreographer, multidisciplinary artist and facilitator

My practice

Grace is a dancer and multidisciplinary artist who aims to share expression as a vessel for the humane. She seeks to heal fractures in the world through art that awakens and inspires.

As a dancer, Grace has performed and collaborated with independent choreographers across Australia — bringing a deeply embodied, human-centred approach to every stage and studio she inhabits.

Her practice moves fluidly between choreography, performance, yoga teaching, ecstatic dance facilitation and creative collaboration — always returning to the body as both subject and instrument.

Philosophy

Movement is how Grace thinks, how she connects, how she creates — and how she invites others to do the same.

Her work explores the intersection of movement, creativity and community, creating spaces where bodies can speak, heal and transform.

From the intimate solo work of “The Golden Afternoon” to large-scale collaborative performances, Grace approaches each project as an opportunity to deepen connection — to self, to others, and to the land we move on.

Audience Responses

The movements are beautifully virtuosic and textural. I felt I was able to resonate with both of your movements and was able to see how the human body is connected to the land itself — spiritually and physically.

I saw myself in this work. Some place deep in my heart was touched.
